Overview:
We are all extremely pleased and delighted with the quality of this year’s show. We would like to thank everyone who sent us material for providing so much valuable and interesting work for us to choose from. This year’s animation screening room is an excellent and important showcase for pieces well worth the repeated viewings they will receive. The 1988 film and video show and animation screening room were conceived of as complementary events, and this year’s most promising work cannot be properly sampled without seeing both.
