Exhibitors

Although we would love to have a listing of all the exhibitors and the years they participated in the SIGGRAPH conferences, we are severely short on funding to hire student help.

We are looking for sponsorship to help fund the development of this online archive of the history of SIGGRAPH contributions and participants.  We want to include the exhibitor lists from each conference and connect them with their Exhibitor Sessions but we need funding to hire students to research and enter the information.  Please help us out.

What is the money used for?

  • Hiring students to help with scanning documents, cataloging, and entering information into the SIGGRAPH archives. Students will also do imaging and design work to clean up old scans, design icons, develop UI/UX elements, and create PDFs. We have thousands of documents that need scanning and cleanup. It will take hundreds of hours just to add the long history of exhibitors at the SIGGRAPH conference to the archives.
  • Hiring student programmers to develop the online SIGGRAPH archives.  We need export and visualization code written and lots of UI elements to be added.
  • Travel costs to send archivists to SIGGRAPH to document and collect materials.
  • Video editing of interviews of computer graphics pioneers.
  • Other miscellaneous expenses, including but not limited to, purchasing scanners, shipping, etc.

What you get for becoming a sponsor:

  • You will be credited and thanked at all presentations of the archives at conferences and events.
  • For sponsorship levels at the Silver or Gold levels, we will add additional marketing information to your Exhibitor page.
