In 1978 and 1979, the film show consisted of Tom Defanti standing next to a projector in the middle of the meeting room and yelling “Does anybody have anything to show”. In 1980, Chuck Csuri started organizing the Film and Video Show. The first SIGGRAPH Video Review included works from 1979.
