SIGGRAPH 2008
Oliver Deussen is a full professor at the University of Konstanz (Germany). He works since several years on tile-based design and published some papers on this topic. He is interested in this area because many distribution problems (i.e. in nonphotorealistic rendering or landscape modeling) can be solved efficiently using tile-based methods.
