Bio:

    Bertram Herzog is one of the founders and vice president of Unicad, Inc., a company founded to produce a universal CAD software system for building special and custom applications. From 1979 to 1983, as president of Herzog Associates, Inc., he was a technical and management consultant specializing in engineering computation, CAD/CAM and computer graphics. He is on the editorial boards of IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications and CAD/CAM Digest. He was co-chairman of the SIGGRAPH Graphics Standards Planning Committee which published the core standard. Herzog received his B.S. in physics and M.S. in engineering mechanics from Case Western University and his Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from the University of Michigan.

    Bertram Herzog is the President of Herzog Associates. lnc., a firm specializing in technical and management consulting for CAD/CAM, computer graphics, and general technical computing. He has many years of experience in design, computer graphics, and CAD, in industry and at universities. Dr. Herzog served as co-chairman of the SIGGRAPH Graphics Standard Planning Committee.
