Harrison Ellenshaw

Harrison Ellenshaw has spent over 25 years in the film industry, with credits that include Star Wars, the Man Who Fell to Earth, Captain Eo, the Blade Hole, Superman V, Diclc Tracy, Wilder Napalm, Dave, and The Empire Strikes Back. Ellenshaw began his career as a matte artist and then, in 1982, was a visual effects supervisor on a film utilizing what was groundbreaking technology on Tron. After Tron, Ellenshaw lent his talents to a number of films culminating in 1990 with Dick Tracy. He followed this work at Buena Visua Visual Effects where he seated shots for over 30 films, including: The Pelican Brief, Junior, Honey I Blew up the Kid, Hocus Pocus, The Santa Clause, James and the Giant Peach, and many more. Ellenshaw also successfully guided the first complete digital restoration of a feature film: Snow White. During a six year tenure, he also headed Buena Vista Imaging and Theme Park Films Distribution.
