Ayush Bhandari works in the area of signal processing, imaging and applied mathematics. Previously, he was a researcher at INRIA. Following that, he worked at the Image and Video Processing Lab, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Later he was with the Audiovisual Communications Laboratory at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Before moving to MIT, he was at the Biomedical Imaging Group at the EPFL, Switzerland. He received the Best Paper Award at the 2007 IEEE SIEDS and the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE ISSPA. He was also the recipient of the IEEE Region 10 Student Paper Award.
