Bio

SIGGRAPH 1984

Vibeke Sorensen received her B.A. from the School of Architecture of the Royal Academy of Art and Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark, and her master’s degree in electronic art from the Center for Media Study at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has received numerous grants and awards for her work in computer-generated video and music, and has exhibited her work throughout the world. She was an assistant professor of computer graphic design and electronic imaging at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond from 1980 to 1983. Currently, she is the director of the computer graphics program at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
