Bio:

  • SIGGRAPH 1996

    Jean Favre is a graphics scientist at the Swiss National Center for Scientific Computing. Dr.  Favre has worked in the computer graphics field since 1987, when he joined Tektronix Computer Graphics Lab. In 1989, he moved to The George Washington University as one of 5 Presidential Merit Fellows for a doctorate degree in computer science. His interests include 3-D  graphics, scientific visualization and programming languages. Dr. Favre also received a B.S. in Mathematics from Universite de Savoie, France, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University.
