Title:

    An intuitive interface based on camera parameters for portable devices

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    This paper proposes a new user-friendly interface for portable de- vices. A portable device can be intuitively operated without ded- icated interface by recognizing a user’s gesture based on certain  camera motion parameters. We propose a camera based intuitive  interface which recognizes pan, tilt, zoom and rotation. The pro- posed interface greatly improves the usability for portable devices  such as a camera phone and a PDA with camera.
