Abstract:
The motion of hair is generally smooth—nearby hair strands move in a similar manner. This allows to compute the motion on a subset of the hairs which is often referred to as the guide hairs. The motion of the rest of the hairs is derived through interpolation, these hairs are referred to as interpolated hairs.
