Michael Bunnell graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in computer science and electrical engineering. He wrote the Megamax C compiler for the Macintosh, Atari ST, and Apple IIGS before co-founding what is now LynuxWorks. After working on real-time operating systems for nine years, he moved to Silicon Graphics, focusing on image processing and on video and graphics software. Next, he worked at Gigapixel, then at 3dfx and NVIDIA, where he worked on shader compilation and optimization. In August 2005, Bunnell founded Fantasy Lab, Inc., a privately- held independent game developer headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. He works as it’s President, CEO, and game engine designer.
