Jeff Thingvold is the Chief Technology Officer and one of the founding members of LambSoft, an animation software company which creates leading edge animation editing tools. LambSoft was created as a spinoff of Lamb & Company, the internationally recognized animation production company, in February of 1997. Jeff joined Lamb & Company in 1992 to work on the first fully 3D animated network television show “The Adventures of the Incredible Crash Dummies.” It was then that he began to research motion capture and animation databasing technologies for use in long and short format animation work. Prior to joining Lamb & Company Jeff worked as a visualization specialist at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). While there he was a member of a team that developed techniques for representing scientific information in an animated visual form. Jeff has a masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and two bachelor degrees from North Dakota State University; one in Computer Science and one in Mathematics.
