    Elizabeth Smith is a Director of Engineering for Paradigm Simulation Inc.. She received an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Texas Christian University, a Masters in Mathematics from California State University Los Angeles and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Before joining Paradigm in 1993 she developed 3D visualization software for Sierra Geographics and Halliburton Energy Services and was graphics team lead in the Artificial Intelligence Lab and Visualization and Simulation lab of the (former) Defense Systems and Electronics Group of Texas Instruments. Since 1988 she has lectured occasionally in computer graphics at the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas. Her interests include toolkits and interfaces for the development of real time graphics applications as well as techniques for data visualization.
