Master Collection

The ACM SIGGRAPH is now collecting materials for the SIGGRAPH Master Collection of physical artifacts.  The temporary home to the Master Collection is Bowling Green State University, home of the SIGGRAPH 1975 conference.

The types of materials we are collecting include:

  • SIGGRAPH and SICGRAPH Publications (very early publications to the present)
    • Proceedings, Catalogs, CG Quarterlies, Conference Abstracts and Applications, etc.
  • SIGGRAPH Promotional Materials
    • Calls for Participation, postcards, advertising, SIGGRAPHITTI, etc.
  • SIGGRAPH Conference Programs
    • Preliminary and Final
  • Conference Information Handouts
    • Electronic Theater Booklets, Locators, etc.
  • SIGGRAPH Artifacts and Swag
    • Pins, Mugs, T-Shirts, etc.

If you want to clear out your basement of those SIGGRAPH boxes, contact us to discuss whether we need the materials you have: historyarchives@siggraph.org

***We hire undergraduate research students to work on the physical and online archives and could use help sponsoring them to continue this work.  If you are interested in becoming a sponsor see the Sponsorship page.
