Art Show Overview:
Artists bring vision to life through advanced technology.
The SIGGRAPH 2019 Art Gallery is pleased to announce the return to a juried exhibition, with this year?s theme being, ?Proliferating Possibilities: Speculative Futures in Art and Design.? What solutions might we need to thrive in a future full of promise and unknowns?
The SIGGRAPH Art Gallery has always existed as an exhibition for artworks that fuse compelling artistic vision with technological innovation. The pieces featured in the Art Gallery demonstrate the progress we?re making, as well as the questions we?re facing as a global society. Artists have and continue to incorporate hybrid practices, digital fabrication technologies, science, architecture, design, and virtual and augmented platforms in their work as a means of exploration around crucial societal questions.
