Today’s conversations are unlike any ever seen thus far. In a time of hyper-connectivity, society tends to be more and more preoccupied with the black screen in their pocket than the reality of the individuals right in front of them. People are shying away from conversations that involve talking to a flesh and blood person, preferring to interact with them using social media even while in their presence. Conversations is a work that addresses this new reality, one in which we disconnect ourselves from interacting with others. We miss human expressions, tone, and sight while everything is shielded by a screen and anything can be said without repercussions … or can it?
