Bio:

  • SIGGRAPH 1999

    Thomas DeWeese is a Senior Software Engineer in the Imaging Sciences Resource Laboratory in the lmage Science Division of Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester NY. His current work is focused on the design and implementation of tools for digital image processing and analysis research. He was the technical lead from Kodak to Sun Microsystems on the design of the Java Advanced Imaging API and Java 2D APl, which he spoke on at the JavaOne developers’ conference. Previous work includes visualization tools for large object-oriented database schemas, and areas of Computational Geometry. Thomas earned his BS and MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
