SIGGRAPH 1984

Peter R. Bono is chairman of the American National Standards Institute Technical Committee on Computer Graphics (ANSC X3H3) and is chief U.S. delegate to the International Standards Organization Working Group on Graphics (ISO TC97/SC5/WG2). His committee has recently released two draft standards for public review-the Graphical Kernel System (GKS) and the Virtual Device Metafile (VDM). Bono received his A.B. from Harvard University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Bono has taught seminars and published articles on graphics standards.
