    Who should attend?

    This course is for software engineers and applications programmers who expect to use the GKS graphics standard which is being adopted by ANSI and ISO.

    Recommended background

    Familiarity with the development of applications software in a FORTRAN environment is suggested. Previous knowledge of computer graphics is recommended.

    Course description

    This course will present the Graphical Kernel System— what it is and how to use it. Course content will be targeted toward the programmers and their managers who are developing graphics applications software. This course will concentrate on how to use the standard.
