    Lawrence J. Rosenblum is Program Director for Graphics and Visualization in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Directorate at the National Science Foundation. He has previously served as Program Officer for Graphics and Visualization at the Office of Naval Research. His research group at the Naval Research Laboratory produced advances in mobile augmented reality (AR), scientific and uncertainty visualization, VR displays, applications of VR/AR systems, and understanding human performance in graphics systems. Rosenblum has published over 80 scientific articles and served on the editorial boards of several journals. He is a Director and former Chairman of the IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee.
