Bio:

  • Françoise Chambefort is an artist-researcher. She works on sound as well as still or moving images and considers data as a material in her creations.

    Graduate of a Master in multimedia option Music and sound in 2015, she is preparing a thesis on the generative art and its narrative potentialities within the Design, Creation, Mediation Center of the ELLIADD Laboratory (University of Franche-Comté).

    In parallel, she follows the lessons of Jacopo Baboni, Lorenzo Bianchi and Giacomo Platini in the class of electroacoustic composition of the Conservatory of the Pays de Montbéliard.

    With Solène Froissart, director, she won the 1st Prize of the L-East Hackathon 2016 with In the footsteps of Miss Electricity, transmedia development of the Miss Electricity show (creation co-produced by the Granite Scène Nationale de Belfort).

    Winner of a Figura Laboratoire (International Textile and Imaginary Research Center) international student bursary in 2016, UQAM, Montreal, Canada.
