Title:

    Volumetric 3D display with scanned 1D LED arrays and its application to animation contents

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

     Volumetric 3D (three-dimensional) display would become a trend in future [Favalora, 2005]. We have developed a 3D display, with which a real 3D image can be viewed by rotating two pairs of LED (Light Emitting Diode) arrays spirally arranged on the turning table. We have also improved their resolution and colorization, and further developed software to create real and animated 3D images.
