Abstract:

Color correction is an ill-posed problem. Reference colorcharts and color difference minimization strategies are commonly used to solve it. We show the limitation of this approach, introduce a spatial metric, propose a method that treat luminance and chrominance separately use white-point centric transformations. It considerably improves upon current state-of-the-art methods.
