Title:

    Real-time video lighting

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    Interactive computer graphics are often loosely connected to the real world, responding only to button presses or the movements of a mouse. This work attempts to bring the real and CG worlds closer together by lighting in real time a CG scene as if it were physically present in the user’s surroundings. The screen of the display device is treated not as a window into a different world but rather a window into the physical space enclosed by the device itself.
