Abstract:

OpenMPD is an open standard to facilitate the creation of multi-modal content using phased arrays of transducers. The standard includes support for state-of-the-art acoustic algorithms, integrated illumination control of the content, open hardware designs, integration with higher level tools (e.g., C++ and Unity/C#), and everything you need to create 3D content you can see, hear, and feel with your bare eyes, ears, and hands.
