    Who should attend?

    This course is designed for users and potential users of robots and robotic systems in industry, especially those interested in graphics tools for interfacing robotics with CAD/CAM systems.

    Recommended background

    This is an introductory course for those interested in the application of graphics techniques to robotic problems.

    Course description

    This course will include lectures on the historical perspective of graphics techniques in robotics, the layout of robotic work cells, graphics and robot programming, graphics and sensor programming, emulation of program execution, designing robots using graphics, modeling for design vs. modeling for manufacturing and educating robot users with graphics.
