Welcome to Frontiers In Rendering. Today’s course is a gourmet’s potpourri: a collection of dishes from near and far, selected for their unusual and pleasing tastes. Our topic is rendering, but that is the only formal organization of today’s diverse material. To assemble this course, I asked a number of well-known and respected researchers in the field of rendering to come describe their current and most exciting work. Today’s presentations offer a glimpse of this leading edge in rendering research .
