Abstract:
In the field of analysis of motion in dancing, application of factor analysis to motion capture data was suggested as the method for extraction of primitive motions in a dance [Miura et al. 2006]. In this study, we try to evaluate the similarity of plural dances, by using the data of characteristics in motion obtained by the above factor-analysis method.
