Abstract:


    This technical sketch surveys the wide variety of projection techniques that are employed in today’s video and computer games. We will discuss the evolution of the “game view” and the reasons behind the choice of perspective, some of which are practical, while others are legacies. We will also explore the limits inherent in choosing a particular technique.
