Abstract:


    We introduce a multigrid method for solving systems of equations on surfaces. It features fast hierarchy construction and solving and works for general surface representations like triangle-, polygonal-, and non-manifold meshes and point clouds. We achieve this with geometric graph algorithms and by using point clouds to represent the levels.
