Description:

DAVIGO is an asymmetrical VR and PC multiplayer game, where VR and PC players interact within the same virtual space, one as a giant and the other as a little warrior. This form of gameplay created novel challenges for our design process to effectively balance the game. These challenges included balancing player speeds across the two scales and ensuring mechanics such as throwing felt natural. Respectively, we solved these challenges by reducing the giant’s speed in relation to the VR player’s movement and implementing novel throwing mechanics such as physically stimulating joints and adding aim assist features.
