Overview:


    The year’s finest computer-generated animations on film and video: technical adventures, major movie effects, scientific visualizations, and new visions. The SIGGRAPH 97 Computer Animation Festival presented a broad array of works in several categories in the Festival Screening Rooms. A representative selection of Festival entries in a variety of formats was also shown in the Electronic Theater, which returned to LA’s historic Shrine Auditorium.
