Artist Statement:
The Free Culture Game is a playable representation of the battle between copyright and the free exchange of knowledge, ideas and art. Loosely based of the theories of Lawrence Lessig and McKenzie Wark’s “A hacker manifesto”, it portrays the ambiguous relation between the market and commons.
