The main character, “Phage:’ is seen as a comical miner, taking samples of mineral deposits and storing them in his “body:’ On his excursion to the surface of the satellite planet “Levania:’ his mining activities escalate into a type of “bio-mechanical reproduction:’ in the form of a dance.
