Abstract:
For the Land of the Lost movie production, Rhythm & Hues was tasked to create the underwater Mystery Cave sequence. CG water was created to match water shots on stage. Then, the cave and the underwater river was extended, the cave broke apart and collapsed into the water, the river pours out into a waterfall, and falls into an underground vortex. The sequence had about 20 shots, 10 of them requiring FX work.
