Title:

    Synthesizing facial animation using dynamical property of facial muscle

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    Muscle-based facial animation [Lee et al. 1995] is one of the best approaches to realize a realistic, lifelike character. However, the optimal control of each muscle to generate facial animation is complicated. Appropriate muscle actions are usually determined manually by trial and error. We introduce a technique that automatically estimates facial muscle parameters for synthesizing realistic facial animation with a variety of facial expressions by capturing facial motion.
