Bio

Jesse is Co-Founder and Co-Creative Director at Studio Wildcard, the team behind the smash indie hit ARK: Survival Evolved. Prior to his current venture, Jesse was Technical Art Director on Microsoft Hololens at Xbox and Lead Technical Artist at Sony Online Entertainment after spending 3 years in India as VP of Production at Exigent, an outsourcing company he also co-founded.

An innovator-entrepreneur with the discerning eye of an artist and the logical wiring of a programmer, Jesse has been Studio Manager, Creative Director, Art Director, Technical Art Director, CTO, Production Manager, VFX Supervisor, Tech Artist, VFX Artist, Animator, and more. Jesse has a cinematic background and can personally implement and direct most aspects of the art pipeline, tools, and DCC plugin development as well as high-level gameplay scripting. Jesse’s teams excel at rapid prototyping, allowing for critical path decision-making under the pressure of tight production schedules. He firmly believes that every problem has an acceptable solution that can be reached through the right balance of trade-offs.
