Biayna Bogosian’s research explores the relationship between urban environmental data, design, and justice. As an architect and computational/environmental/immersive media designer, she integrates locative, interactive, and immersive media with participatory critical-making practices and environmental robotics to create innovative solutions that improve the natural and built environments. Her research, supported by NSF and NASA, highlights sociotechnical and political encounters in environmental data acquisition, access, analysis, and design. Biayna is a doctoral candidate at USC and an Assistant Professor of Architectural Technology at FIU, where she is also the Associate Director of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab.
