Abstract:


    Enabling volume manipulation, such as clipping, deformation and cutting volumetrically, has the possibility of improving current software widely used in computer aided diagnosis, intraoperative support and surgical simulation. This presentation proposes advanced volume interaction with voxel data using 3D general grids. As practical application on medical images, on-demand extraction on 3D reconstructed volume images and physics-based volumetric representation is presented.
