Additional Information:

Character animation using the computer is becoming more exciting and accepted today. However, its roots are grounded in the traditional character animation of Walt Disney Studios, as well as other studios around the world. Understanding the evolution, personality development, design issues, production methods and the current technology of traditional character animation will better develop the state of the art of computer character animation.
The panelists discuss the past, present and future of Disney animation, high-quality character animation for television, and character animation in Europe. Excerpts from their work in animation are also shown.
