Abstract:
A Workshop on Computer Graphics preceded the Conference on Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14. The Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques began Monday and ended Wednesday of the same week. The Workshop, sponsored by ACM/SIGGRAPH and organized by Professor James D. Foley of the University of North Carolina, was for the purpose of introducing newcomers to the world of computer graphics, in preparation for the Conference which followed.
