    Now that the worldwide installed base of supercomputers is nearly 200, they are playing an increasing role in the scientific computing community, and supercomputer graphics is growing in importance. The National Science Foundation’s creation of five national supercomputer centers has made these large scale systems widely available to scientists and researchers. How will access to the world of megaflops affect graphics programming and scientific research? The panel discusses strategies for supercomputer graphics.
