Title:

    NIGAO: interactive facial caricature drawing system using genetic algorithm

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    What is the appeal of facial caricatures? The authors believe that it?is not just geometrical exaggeration, but the uniqueness of artist?s?impression of the target face. This paper proposes a novel system?that can draw facial caricatures interactively reflecting the user?s?impression. The proposed system adopts the interactive genetic?algorithm (IGA), and is called ?NIGAO? that is a Japanese word?meaning a facial caricature.
