Abstract:

This paper presents an algorithm for producing goniochromatic effects on arbitrary surfaces by adding meso-facets to the input surface. The framework allows for different generating functions for the shape and color of facets. It is a single fabrication process, requires no special postprocessing, and introduces minimal changes to the surface.
