Abstract:


    An interactive integrated financial decision aiding system has been in use by all levels of management at IU International Management Corporation for several years. The corporate planning system is a major subsystem utilizing many management science tools. All the decision systems interact directly with corporate officers and staff via computer graphic interfaces. In addition on-line board room graphics, tape recorded graphic presentations and automatically generated manuals are among a few of the other uses made of computer graphics by the corporate planning department. This paper describes the uses of computer graphics in that corporate planning environment proposes a generalized technology to provide the needed systems for business environments.
