Abstract:
With the recent advent of inexpensive yet powerful computers, the use of high-quality computer graphics and multimedia system, to facilitate learning is rapidly increasing. This panel will give a review of leading-edge work by focusing on several areas, including computer science, mathematics, biology, and art and design. Each panelist will describe how they currently use computer graphics and/or multimedia and give their _view of future applications. Emphasis will be placed on how using these techniques fosters interdisciplinary collaboration both for creating learning environments and for working in these career areas.
