Abstract:

Our team was tasked with the project of creating a full-screen, completely believable, CG stunt double for a well-known motion picture star. Successful project completion required adapting and applying many years worth of computer graphics research in a new and novel way. Most importantly, development had to be done within usual production constraints—ultimately guaranteed results, known pipeline, quick turnaround on tests, and a final product that would rival any work in this genre ever attempted.
