    How cloth simulation works. Evolution of cloth animation. Particle-based models of cloth. Stable but responsive cloth. Numerical techniques for cloth simulation. Collision detection and handling. Clothing animation in the film industry.

    Description
    An introduction to state-of-the-art techniques for simulating and animating clothing. This course presents low-level models of cloth, numerical simulation methods, and collision-handling procedures. It closes with a description of the clothing animation techniques utilized by a major animation production company.
