Title:

    Algorithms for image/vector conversion

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    Digitized images can be converted into graphics format by segmenting them into regions and applying connected component analysis to the regions. Boundary chains can be constructed for each region, and the topological relationships among the regions can be extracted. Region maps can be reconstructed from this information.
